How to install Clip-Bucket

How to install Clip-Bucket:

 

This will walk you through steps to install the Britain Connected VPS optimized version of Clip-Bucket with Pseudo-Streaming Enabled.

 

NOTE: First, make sure you have configured your server using this article: https://britainconnected.co.uk/client-area/my-account/knowledgebase.php/?action=displayarticle&id=39

1.) Download Our Archive of Clip-Bucket from Here

2.) Create a MYSQL Database for your Clip-Bucket install.

 

   A.) Login to cPanel

 

   B.) Click "MySQL Database Wizard"

 

   C.) Follow the steps on the screen (Remember to give the DB User full privileges)

 

3.) Connect Via FTP 

 

   A.) Host : "VPS IP Address"

 

   B.) User : "cPanel User Name"

 

   C.) Pass : cPanel Password.

 

4.) Upload Clip-Bucket

 

   A.) Navigate to public_html in your FTP Program
   B.) Extract the upload Folder from clipbucket-Britainconnected-VPS-optimized.zip to your desktop

C.) Drag all Files from inside the upload Folder into your public_html directory via your FTP Program

 

5.) Install Clip-Bucket

 

   A.) Navigate to your website in your Web Browser. You should now see the ClipBucket Installer v2.6 STABLE Page

 

   B.) Click "OK, I Agree, Now let me Continue!"

 

   C.) The installer now will say 1-2 things are not found we will update the configuration files later. Click Continue To Next Step

 

   D.) Click Continue To Next Step

 

   E.) Enter the details for the MySQL Database you created earlier Host is "localhost" Leave Database Prefix as is unless you know what you are doing. Click Check Connection

  

   F.) Enter your desires username, password, and E-mail then Click Save and Continue

 

   G.) Enter your Website title and Website Slogan Then Click Save and Continue

 

   H.) Now Click Skip and Finish

 

   I.) In your FTP program you now either need to rename or remove the cb_install Folder.

 

   J.) Login yo your Admin Area

 

6.) Configuring Clip-Bucket

 

   A.) Click Stats And Configurations

 

   B.) Click Website Configurations

 

   C:) Set your desired Timezone next to "Default Time Zone"

 

   D:) Set the sites e-mail Address (If you have not created one I recommend creating webmaster@'yourdomain.com' in cPanel)

 

   E.) Click Uploading and Conversion Settings

 

   F.) Set the paths as follows

 

/usr/local/bin/flvtool++

 

/usr/bin/ffmpeg

 

/usr/local/bin/MP4Box

 

/usr/bin/flvtool2

 

   G.) Set Max Video Processes at once to the level VPS that you have as each level vps has a max load average equal to the level that the vps is.

 

   H.)Un-Check Save original file (If not on a cloud level VPS also Un-Check Mp4 HQ Output)

 

   I.) Under "Change only if you have good knowledge of video conversion" Select either "High Configurations" or "H.264, AAC - Youtube like"

 

   J.) Click Update Settings

 

   K.) In the left panel Click Templates and Players

 

   L.) Click Player Settings

 

   M.) Now select Use PseudoStreaming to Yes

 

   N.) Click Update
