Add a Virtual MAC
ADD A Virtual MAC
some operating Systems you will need to create a Virtual MAC.
For example Vmware you will need this when creating virtual machines so each machine has its own Dedicated IP.
1. Login to our client area and select your service.
2. Select your product.( ie BC-SAT-1 )
2. Select IP Controls from the Actions menu on the left.
3. Select the IP you wish to assign the virtual MAC to, Click Edit and Add Virtual MAC
4. Select ADD MAC.
That’s it all done your server will now have a Virtual MAC set to that IP Address.
Generally the Netmask would be 255.255.255.255 this information will be confirmed on the confirmation email of your IP Block.
