Hello,
We have noticed a bug in our centovacast with it displaying the wrong IP ( 172.16.1.150 )
The IP you should be entering is: 149.202.243.150
This is due to a NAT issue we are investigating away to resolve this issue.
In the mean time just replace the IP as above and everything will work fine.

Hello,
Ater various tests performed over night we are working towards a perminant fix on this issue.
There will be a server IP change so once we hve alowcated the IP's for this we will update you with a date the work will complete and new server IP's
if you use our domain instaed of a IP you will not notice any issues.

- Display of IP in the wrong IP in the user interface
- SSL
Update: 15/09/2017Today we are rebuilding and securing our shared centova server.
There will be a new IP: 5.196.41.242
The shoutcast / ice cast servers will be down for aprox 1 our and intmitant throughout the day until work is completed.
Update: 15/09/2017 14:01We have implimented the IP change, Yhe DNS is propogating to the new IP then will load. in the intrim you can use: http://5.196.41.242:2199/login/index.php

At 22h40 EST (4h40 GMT), there was a power failure in room D. A particularly violent short circuit damaged the power bus in that room and we had to replace it. This operation is particularly complex and took around 4.5 hours. This is an absolutely abnormal outage and so we requested the expertise of the electrical bus manufacturer to determine the root cause of the problem. Once the power bus was replaced, we were able to restore power in rooms C and D.
We are offering you a compensation for your impacted services, which will remain in accordance with our SLA.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

The connection to being able to stream or login to your account is intermittent.
This is due to a network error over in the data centre or beyond.
If have a support request open with the data centre and awaiting their investigation and fix.

Hello,
We are planning some changes to our shout cast servers this evening.
- New firewall
- New Improved hardware
- New IP
- Additional security to the server
Over the last few weeks although you maybe not aware the shout cast has been attacked several times via a DDoS, although our systems have stayed online we are improving our security and hardware to make sure we can keep on providing the best service to you.
There will also be a IP change.
We have put in a system so if the IP's ever change again you will no longer need to update at your end, simply use one of the following in your website scripts , apps and to connect to your streams.
radio.britainconnected.com:<Your Port>
shoutcast.britainconnected.com:<Your Port>
*Please replace <Your Port> with your actual port number eg: 8000*
Your account information will be not lost or reset with these upgrades.
At a premium we are also now able to proxy your radio to port 80 for more information on this please open a support ticket within your client area.
If you wish to use the dedicated IP address you can do this, however we are not responsible for updating your site, apps should they go offline.
IF you require the IP please contact us.
The work has now been completed however we will monitor the server for the next 24 hours to make sure everything is running smooth.
Should you have any issues please to open a support ticket.

Hello,
We had 2 outages where no websites on this server where loading.
After our investigation we can see there was a situation that was allowing the MaxRequestWorkers settings to be maxed.
We have made some adjustments and this should be now resolved.
I would like to apologise to anyone that had any difficulty accessing there websites in this time.

Hello,
Today we had a breif outage on one of our shared hosting servers "Zeus"
This was caused due to an error within a clients website that caused a script to overload the server causing high CPU & Memeory usage.
This has been repaird and all services are back tonormal.

Yesterday 09/11/2014 there was reported packet loss for soem end users.
Here is an upsdate direct from the Data Center.
Details
We have a congestion problem on the internal network
due to the hack of hundreds of dedicated servers which are attacking
many internal targets. Overall, the hack generated 100Gbps
of traffic between RBX (source) and BHS (target)
input 35.22 Gbps
output 71.21 Gbps
The detection of the hacked servers which are participating
to the attack is done automatically but it is too
slow regarding the number of hacked servers.
We cut the traffic between RBX and the internal
network that's why the attack goes out by the public
network. So no more congestion.
However, the ips which go through the VAC are having
a loop.
We put back the internal network. It remains 70Gbps .
input 26.49 Gbps
output 43.17 Gbps

we put in DPI the 2 IPs which are controlling the attack
to find all the other ips which are still sending the packets.
And we are comparing with the anti-hack system. We find the sames
hacked servers (ouch). The problem comes from the speed
of handling of the rescue mode of the attacking servers.
We are going to review the system starting from Monday.

participated in the attack. a dozen of
IP DST were the target.
There are still about 150 servers closed.

We have identified a new series of hacked servers that took part in the attack. We are currently blocking these machines (around 500 machines).

All servers who participated in the attack are
in rescue and customers contacted. The servers
were haced in root with shellshock hack (bash).
In all, 800 servers were involved in the attack
this morning generating over 120Gbps peak in the
internal network. We have 60Gbps between EU and BHS
and is what caused the congestion.Obviously it is
time to go to 2x100G on the private network between
Europe and Canada.

Hello,
We are aware soem users are having dificulty receving emails sent from our server to a free email account with Microsoft. ( @Hotmail.com, @Hotmail.co.uk & @live.co.uk )
We are investigating the issue to see if this is a technical problem on our server or if it is with Microsoft them selfs.
We have contacted Microsft to also check they are not revoking our IP's
